Minecraft: How to Change Server Type

In this guide, we'll show you how to switch between server types for your Minecraft server, such as Bedrock, Forge, or Paper.

How to Change Server Type

  1. Go to your DatHost Control panel.
  2. Click Edit on your Minecraft server.
  3. On the left menu, click on Server Type
  4. Select the server type you wish to use.

When changing server type, note that your mods might break.

  1. Once you have changed the server type, Reboot the server for the change to take effect.
