ARK: How to Force Save a World
An ARK dedicated server is saved every 15 minutes by default. While this is usually enough, sometimes when rebooting the server - you risk losing 15 minutes of progress. Luckily enough, there are ways of force saving to avoid losing any kind of progress.
Use cheat commands
The most popular method is using commands to force save a world. Simply do the following:
- Join your ARK server.
- Press TAB to open the in-game console.
- Run the command enablecheats adminpassword
- Then finally, run the command cheat SaveWorld
