This article explains which payment methods DatHost supports, how subscription payments work, and what to do if your payment is rejected.

DatHost currently supports the following payment methods. Availability may vary depending on your region:
- Card payments (VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club)
- PayPal
- Google Pay
- Apple Pay
- Amazon Pay
- Revolut Pay
- Klarna
Subscription payments
Game server subscriptions are charged automatically on the server’s renewal date.
You can find your server’s renewal date in the DatHost Control Panel or on the Subscriptions page. A notification is sent to your email address for each renewal payment.
You can choose between the following billing periods:
- Monthly
- 6 months
- Yearly
Why was my transaction rejected?
A payment may be rejected for several reasons. The most common causes are listed below.
Your bank blocked the transaction
Some banks may block international transactions by default. Since DatHost payments may be processed internationally, please contact your bank and make sure they allow international payments to Sweden.
Incorrect payment details
Make sure all payment information has been entered correctly, including:
- Card number
- Expiration date
- CVC/CVV code
- Billing name and address, if required
After correcting the details, try the payment again.
Insufficient funds
DatHost charges payments in EUR. Please make sure your account has enough funds to cover the full payment amount.
Your bank or payment provider may also charge currency conversion fees if your account uses another currency. Make sure there are enough funds available to cover both the DatHost payment and any additional fees from your bank.
Do you support another payment method?
If the payment method you want to use is not listed above, it is currently not supported.
We recommend using one of the available payment methods listed in this article.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel your game server subscription at any time from the DatHost Control Panel.
