Romestead: World Upload

Playing Romestead and would want to transfer the world save to your DatHost server? Follow this step-by-step guide!


Upload a Local Save to a DatHost Server

Step 1: Locate Your Local World Save

World files are in this folder on your computer, if you have played locally:

C:\Users\<users>\AppData\Roaming\Romestead\EA\profiles\1\saved_worlds\    


Step 2: Upload the World to DatHost

To upload them to the server:

  1. In your DatHost control panel, start the server. It generates a "default" folder inside of the "saved_worlds" folder. You may need to refresh the page after the server has finished booting for it to appear.

  1. Stop the server.

  1. Delete everything in the "default" map.

  1. Upload all 4 files from your local world folder to the "default" map

  1. Start the server and play!
