CS2: Switch Game Modes
The CS2 servers have built-in support for game modes such as retakes, deathmatch, competitive, and casual. In this guide, we will show you how to change between these game modes on your CS2 DatHost server.
How to switch Game Modes

- Go to your DatHost Control Panel

- Click Edit on your CS2 server

- Go to the Settings page found on the left menu

Scroll down until you find the parameter called
Game mode.
Now, select any game mode you would like to play.
We also have a Retake plugin available on the Mods & Plugins page which appears to work better than Valve's built-in mode. If you intend to run the Retake plugin instead, select the "Competitive" game mode with it. - 6
- Finally, save and reboot the server for the game mode to apply. Enjoy!
