Enshrouded: Connect to Server

To join your server you need two things from your DatHost Control Panel: the server address and a password. The password you join with decides which access group you're in, and with it what you can do on the server.

Find your address and password

In the Control Panel, click your server's address to open its connection details.

Copy the server address under Join on Steam, and the password for the group you want to join as.

Each access group has its own password. You can change them, or add groups such as Admin, under Settings → Access.

Join from the game (recommended)

Start Enshrouded, click Play, then Join.

Open the Dedicated Server tab and click Search by IPv4 / Domain at the bottom, or press T.

Paste your server address and click Search.

When your server shows up under Server found, click Join.

Leave Add to Favorites ticked, and next time your server is waiting under Friends & Favorites.

Enter your password and click Join. You're in!

Add the server to Steam Favorites

In Steam, open View → Game Servers.

Open the Favorites tab and click + to add a server by its address.

Paste your server address and click OK.

Start Enshrouded, click Play → Join and open Friends & Favorites. Select your server, click Join and enter your password.

Can't connect?

• Server not found: check that your server shows as Online in the Control Panel, and use the full address including the port, exactly as it appears in the connection details.
• Password not accepted: copy it again from the connection details, or check it under Settings → Access.
