Palworld: Connect to Server

Before You Start

Make sure your server is online and that you are using the correct server name or connection details from the DatHost control panel.

For console players, the server must also have Public server enabled in the server settings.

Connect from PC

1  Go to your DatHost Control Panel

2  Click Edit on your Palworld server

3 Copy the server IP found in the top left section of the control panel.

4 Launch Palworld and select "Join Multiplayer Game".

5 Paste the server IP in the bottom field and press Connect

6 Done. Enjoy your gaming session!

Connect from Xbox / PS5

  1. Go to your DatHost Control Panel
  2. Click Edit on your Palworld server
  3. Go to Server Settings.
  4. Create a unique name for your Palworld Server

  5. Toggle Public server to On.

  6. Save the changes and restart the server if prompted.
  7. Open Palworld on your Xbox or PS5.
  8. Select Join Multiplayer Game.
  9. Search for your server using the server name under Community Servers

  1. Select the server from the list.
  2. Enter the server password if one is set.

You should now be able to join from console.

Important Note for Console Players

Xbox and PS5 players cannot connect the same way PC players do. Instead of using the server address directly, they need to find the server by searching for its server name in the public server list.

If the server does not appear, double-check that Public server is enabled in DatHost and that the server name is spelled correctly.
