CS2: Change Max Players Per Game Mode
In CS2, the max players allowed in a game mode is limited, even if the server slots allow for more players to join. In this guide, we will go through how to change the number of players allowed per game mode.
How to change Max Players per Game Mode

- Go to your Control Panel at DatHost and Click Edit on your CS2 Server.

- Go to the File Manager found in the left menu.

Search for
gamemodes_server.txt and open the file.

Modify the "maxplayers" number of the game mode you have active on your server.
To exemplify, if you want to run a 6v6 match on the "competitive" game mode, change the number to 12In order to change the active Game Mode on your server, navigate to the Settings page found in the left menu of your CS2 server control panel. - 6
