ARK: Upload World Save

Uploading Singleplayer World Save
Follow along in these three steps if you have played in singleplayer mode directly in-game.
Step 1: Upload World Save
First things first, let’s locate and upload your current world save. Follow the steps below:

Open Steam -> Right-click on ARK -> Manage -> Browse Local Files

Open the folder Shootergame -> Saved -> SavedArksLocal
Note: If you have played another map than The Island this folder would be named after the map. For example: RagnarokSavedArksLocal. - 3

There will be 4 things you are looking for, you can skip the rest:
- TheIsland.ark (or whatever map you have)
- xxxxxxx.arktribe (your tribe information)
- LocalPlayer.arkprofile (your player information)
- ServerPaintingsCache (if you have made any paintings on the map, they will be located in this folder)
It's recommend to create a local copy of this folder to your computer before uploading it to DatHost. - 4
- Go to your DatHost Control Panel and click Edit on your ARK Server.

- Go to the File Manager found on the left menu

Drag and drop the 4 files outlined in step 3 to the folder
Saved/SavedArks.
Step 2: Rename Player Profile
Secondly, we need to rename your player profile in order for it to work on a multiplayer server.

Copy your
SteamID64. You can find your
SteamID64 on websites such as
SteamID.io

- Open the folder /Saved/SavedArks where you have uploaded your world save

- Right-click on the file named LocalPlayer.arkprofile and click on Rename

Replace
LocalPlayer with your
SteamID64 and hit

Step 3: Change Server Settings
Now to the last step to finish your world save upload.

- Go to your DatHost Control Panel and click Edit on your ARK Server.

- Open the Server tab

Set the
Map to the same as the one you uploaded. Click Save.
