TeamSpeak: Set Server Password

When you rent a TeamSpeak server it will come without password protection as default. To add a password to your server, follow these steps:

1
Make sure you have admin rights to your server. Read more in the article here on how to gain admin rights if you haven’t done that already.
2
Connect to your server using the IP address found in the Control Panel.
3
Right-click your server name at the top of the TeamSpeak window, above all channels, and then click Edit Virtual Server.
4
Enter your desired password in the “Password” field and then click Apply.

You’re done! From now on the password will be required to connect to the server, unless you are the server admin.
