TeamSpeak: Connect Your Domain

If you have your own custom domain at some domain provider, you can connect that to your DatHost TeamSpeak 3 server using .SRV records.
1
Login to the website where you have purchased the domain and look for some section to add DNS records, usually “Manage DNS” or similar button/section.
2
Add the following DNS record, make sure to change the type to SRV:
Service: _ts3

Protocol: _udp.[yoursubdomain] (e.g. _udp.ts if you want ts.yourdomain.com or _udp if you want yourdomain.com)

Priority: 0

Weight: 5

Port: [yourport] (e.g. 9987)
If you have a custom domain set at DatHost you would have to remove that first to get your port number showing again.

Target: [yourhostname] (e.g. brienne.dathost.net)
If you have a custom domain set at DatHost you would have to remove that first to get your port number showing again.
