Satisfactory: Connect to Server

Connect to your Satisfactory server for the first time

1. Copy the IP found in your DatHost Control Panel

   

2. Open Satisfactory and press Server Manager

   

3. Press Add Server at the bottom of the screen

   

4. Fill in the domain/IP address (the part to the left of the colon of your copied IP) in the Address box, and the port (the part to the right of the colon of your copied id) in the Port box and press Confirm

   

5. If you are presented with a certificate warning, confirm it as well (the server is generating it's own certificate on first boot so you are basically accepting to connect using it)

   

6. In the next steps of the wizard, set a server name and a admin password, write down your admin password as you need it if you re-add the server later.

7. Now select the Create Game tab, select a Starting Area, set a Session Name and press Start Game. Press Confirm in the next step. A loader will appear for about a minute while the game is being created.

   

8. Press Join Game at the bottom right, you're in!

   

Join an already created Satisfactory server

When the server is created you and your friends can follow a slightly simplified procedure:

1. Copy the IP found in your DatHost Control Panel

   

2. Open Satisfactory and press Server Manager

   

3. Press Add Server at the bottom of the screen

   

4. Fill in the domain/IP address (the part to the left of the colon of your copied IP) in the Address box, and the port (the part to the right of the colon of your copied id) in the Port box and press Confirm

   

5. If you are presented with a certificate warning, confirm it as well (the server is generating it's own certificate on first boot so you are basically accepting to connect using it)

   

6. Press Join Game at the bottom right, you're in!
