V Rising: Manage World Saves

In this guide

Upload World Save

1
Find the World Folder location on your PC.

If you hosted a dedicated server locally, the location will generally be
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRisingServer\Saves
If you created a Private Game, the location will generally be
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Saves
2
Click on the v2 folder to access your saves.
3
The Worlds have randomly generated names with numbers and characters.

If you are unsure which world you want to upload. Click into one of the World folders and open the ServerHostSettings.Json file. Under the param "Name" is the World name visible.
This is an example of a World map that you will move later.
4
Now that you have located the World that you want to upload to DatHost,
go to your Control Panel at DatHost and click Edit on your V-Rising Server.
5
Click on the File Manager on the left menu.
6
Navigate to /save-data/Saves/v2 and drop your World folder.
7
Almost done. Just navigate to /VRisingServer_Data/StreamingAssets/Settings/ServerHostSettings.json and change the "SaveName" param to the same name as you have on your uploaded World Folder.
8
Done! Save and Reboot to get started.
